The Moxy Milan Malpensa Airport at Terminal 2 takes one pet per room of up to 35 kg, the highest limit at the airport, for a non-refundable €15 per night. Neither has green space at the door, so a dog is walked along the airport roads or driven to the Ticino park.

Case Nuove and Vizzola Ticino

The Crowne Plaza Milan Malpensa Airport accepts one small or medium cat or dog per room, up to 25 kg, for a cleaning charge of €20 per stay, in rooms set aside for pets and subject to confirmation; guide dogs stay free. The Holiday Inn Express next door has the same 25 kg limit and one pet per room at €25 per stay, again with guide dogs free. The TRIBE Milano Malpensa in Vizzola Ticino lists pets as welcome and confirms the fee at booking, and its position on the edge of the Ticino Valley Natural Park gives the best dog walks at the airport, along the river and the Panperduto dam.

The Idea Hotel Milano Malpensa Airport is the exception: the hotel’s own site states that animals are not admitted.

Cardano al Campo and Somma Lombardo

The Novotel Milano Malpensa Aeroporto describes itself as pet friendly with dedicated services and has the Ticino park 500 m away; the fee is set at booking. The Hilton Garden Inn Milan Malpensa in Somma Lombardo accepts pets up to 15 kg and medium size for a non-refundable €25, and the Castello Visconti di San Vito and the country lanes around the town are 2 km away.

Getting there with an animal
